Eyewear Design

Behind The Scenes

My project promotes a sustainable, green modular concept. The frame is uniquely designed, dismissing the need for hinges or screws. The glasses are made using recycled SLA. Their special innovative design enables a quick release “X-shaped” mechanism allowing an easy retraction of the temples for fast disassembly and storage. The front tips of the temples also act as signature symbols, without the need for additional logo patches. The idea behind the frame’s minimalistic design is to allow a more simple manufacturing method, reducing industrial line processes and unnecessary use of added materials and technology, prompting further waste production.
